HEADY LAMARR!

She was a very famous movie star but few knows that she was a very talented scientist, who invented the technique to guide torpedoes which later became the blueprint for the bluetooth and wi-fi. When Howard  Hughes was having problems with his airplanes which were not fast enough, he asked Lamarr for advice. She studied the birds and fishes and came with the solution that the wings of the airplanes shouldn't be square. They should imitate the wings of a bird and the fins of a fish.
