Over the years I have written four letters to The New York Times. Two of them were published which shows that my view points were taken into consideration.

Don't trash our beaches!

Our beaches are not trash bins.

If I believed in reincarnation, I would say that the number of cats who lives at the Colosseum in Rome is the reincarnation of the dead gladiators or Christians who died in the famous arena.

What is the dream of this construction worker looking at the word dream, a sign in front of him?

The beaches in New York City are a little bit far. So what the manhattanites do to enjoy the hot sun of the summer? They improvise a beach on the top of the roof.

The Aftermath of Notre Dame fire!

CNN-Doug Criss
We do not yet know at this point exactly what caused the fire at the Notre Dame cathedral, but a French prosecutor says there is nothing so far to suggest that it was an intentional act, so it was "probable accidental". As the blaze investigations increase, so does the fundraising effort. French President Emmanuel Macron wants Notre Dame to be rebuilt in five years, and so far more than 700 million dollars have been promised in donations. Despite the damage, people were thrilled to know that the cathedral's iconic rose windows survived, as did the Great Organ, which has pipes dating back to the Middle Ages. So how will a Gothic masterpiece like Notre Dame be rebuilt? Perhaps with the help of lasers. You can click here if you want to contribute to the recovery efforts

The bull is the winner!

I am terrible against bullfights. They should be modified like they do in Portugal. The bull is not mistreated or killed. It's a wrestling between the beast and the man. Twelfth young men line up and try to knock the bull down through their horns. Sometimes, the bull wins and nobody is hurt. It's a fair fight!

Audition for Hitchcock?

What are those birds doing all together on a tree on 6th Avenue, New York City? Auditioning for a sequel of "The Birds", the Hitchcock famous movie?

Oh what a beautiful morning!

Oh what a beautiful morning..oh what a beautiful tail... No, it's not the beginning of the musical "Oklahoma". It's about the beauty of the mounted police horses and their beautiful tails.

The skeleton of the winter!

All the live things have a skeleton. We humans show ours through  the x-rays or when we die. The plants however show their skeleton during the rash months of the winter.

From de bottom of the sea

The statue of an young  called   Victorius was found in the sea off Fano on the Adriatic coast of Italy, snagged in the nets of a Italians fishing trawler. Italians art dealers paid the fishermen $ 5,600 USD for it. The Getty Museum bought it from German art dealer Herman Heinz  Herzer for almost $4M USD.
What I did was put the statue back into the sea to see what it looked like when it was found.
