230 million years to orbit our galaxy!

Our solar system and all the stars we see are orbiting the center of the Milkyway, our galaxy at a speed of 828.000 km/hour. But even at that speed, it will take about 230 million years to make a complete orbit. 230 million years ago, in the Triassic period, all the earth landmass was just a supercontinent called Pangaea extended from pole to pole.
